At Caesar Spa & Wellness you can use no less than six different saunas, an assortment of showers, the whirlpool, the hammam and the relaxation area. In the large Kelosauna ritual infusions are provided several times a day.

Himalayan salt crystal sauna

Enter and feel the overwhelming oriental atmosphere. By heating the salt crystals imported from Nepal, minerals are released that purify the air. The evaporation and the degree of moisture allow you to inhale these specific purifying vapours. A visit to this special sauna is very suitable for people with bronchial complaints, asthma and hay fever. Himalayan salt crystals have a detoxifying effect on the entire organism. The temperature in the salt crystal sauna is about 65 degrees Celsius.

Infrared sauna

Infrared radiation has an enormous depth effect and that is the secret of this sauna. Due to this depth, it has a positive effect on muscle pains and rheumatic diseases. The temperature of the infrared sauna is 50 degrees Celsius.

A Kelosauna is a sauna built with kelo trees. Kelo is Finnish for pine. This tree is also called Arctic fir. The kelo grows in the entire Arctic Circle and is on average between 300 and 500 years old. While you enjoy your visit to this sauna, a delicious pine scent is released from the logs with which this sauna is built. That fragrance is wonderfully soothing and clears the airways. The traditional Finnish löyly – a pouring ritual – takes place in this sauna. The temperature in the Kelosauna is 85 degrees Celsius.

Steam bath

The steam bath is one of the oldest traditions of natural bathing. The warm steam removes daily stress, tension and fatigue. In addition, steam and essential oils have a beneficial effect on your airways. The humidity in a steam bath is extremely high, making it difficult to breathe and sweat. This increases the body temperature and so your body is put to work. The temperature in the steam bath is between 40 and 50 degrees Celsius.

Herbal sauna

The herbal sauna is a wonderfully scented sauna made with red cedar wood. Steam generates the aroma of lavender, mint or rosemary, which makes for a pleasant experience. The herbs not only have a wonderful scent, but they also have a beneficial effect on the body. The temperature in the herbal sauna is 70 degrees Celsius.

Finnish sauna

Most people know the Finnish sauna as the traditional sauna. The Finnish sauna mainly serves to cleanse the body and relax muscles. The high temperature of these saunas results in perspiration, which removes waste products from your body and improves blood circulation in the skin. The temperature of the Finnish sauna is 95 to 100 degrees Celsius.

The löyly – the traditional infusion ritual – of Caesar Fitness + Spa Resort takes place several times a day in the large Kelosauna. A generous amount of water with essential oils is poured on the sauna stove and the hot scented vapours are waved around by one of our sauna employees. The hot and humidified air flows through the body and provides a strong, tingling heat sensation that forces your body to work harder. The löyly takes place every day: Monday to Friday at 20:15, and on weekends at 16:15. From October 1st 2022, the löyly ritual will also take place every day at 12:15.
